On Thursday 20th November 2008 the DEBI 2008 Environmental Awards Ceremony took place.  Held at the Met Office, Exeter and presented by Dr Richard Cresswell of the Environment Agency, a super evening was had by all who attended, with lots of networking over a glass of wine and a bite to eat afterwards.

Andy Vickery, Chairman of DEBI said "DEBI is delighted with the response from Devon’s businesses.  The quality of entries this year was higher than ever.  It is clear that Devon really is at the forefront of pushing the Green agenda with many businesses keen to show they are improving their environmental credentials.  Competition this year was very strong and I would like to pass my congratulations onto all those who entered.”
