Otter Brewery, Luppitt, Nr Honition
Next we went to Otter Brewery out at Luppitt, in the heart of the Blackdown Hills.
Established in 1990 Ottery Brewery’s aim is to produce beers that are different to the mass produced and artificially flavoured ones dominating the market. Sustainability plays a key role at every stage of the process, from the buildings it is produced in, to locally sourced malt, through to the water used for the beer.
Our visit concluded in the new constructed cellar building submerged under ground requiring no artificial refrigeration and of course a sample of their beer and a barbecue.
